EASEL meets de public of Festa de la Ciència 2016 in Barcelona!
At its 10th edition la Festa de la Ciència took place last weekend 18-19 June at the Parque de la Ciutadella in Barcelona. This initiative is part of the Barcelona Science program of the Institute of Culture of Barcelona and has the support of the National Museum of Natural Science Barcelona.
On Sunday, EASEL & SPECS researchers Vicky Vouloutsy, Maria Blancas, with Anna Mura, presented to the general public "Biomimetic Robots to understand human behavior." Thanks to robotics we can study aspects of brain function, such as for instance learning and social behavior. We invited people to get to know this world with a few examples of 3D printed robots, such as the balancing robot and Codibot designed and produced by SPECS, as well as the NAO robot, and to discover aspects of our own behavior. This activity was supported by the European projects: EASEL and WYSIWYD .
