EASEL meets school children at Science Museum of Barcelona

15/06/2016

Great collaboration between the science museum CosmoCaixa , the school Frederic Mistral of Barcelona and the EASEL project to bring school children closer to robotics and technology.

EASEL researchers from the SPECS group at UPF and the group from Sheffield University, have worked closely with 170 school children from a primary school of Barcelona to understand how young students interact and experience different types of learning activities with robots.  During a 3 day period,  children have meet the robot Zeno and tested its tutoring abilities, and engaged with the EASELscope or other robots.  All children expressed specific opinions about the different robots shown to them via drawings and questionnaires. It clearly emerged above all that children love robots!
